The driver is a  the state of the art development of the classic Egmont. The most important improvement is in the tubed duble-rail power supply. The power supply is absolutly ovesized. The power rectification is made trough a four stage LC-RC filter, having a refined inductor input. This unit supply an high clean DC voltage that improve the overall perfomance of the driver. The cabinet is made by a sandwich of heavy alluminium and copper, all the components are non-maganetics, the cabilng is in OFC copper silver plated. Some important linkages are made with  2mm silver wire.

All the components are selected, and some like transformers and potentiometers are custom built.

The very high dynamics exceede the limits of the many headphones, that mean that  headphone goes to clipping before the amplifier. Dynamics and trasparency are astonishing.

Altough the absence of any feedback the Total Harmonic Distostion is limited to a mere 0.1% mainly of 2nd harmonic.

The frequency response match perfectly the Stax headphons in order to give a very liner outpu
