RP3-d, the sweet warm sound of tube input amplification, the punch and speed given by a discrete solid state transistor Class A used i n the power stage, plus the flexibility and quality of an internal USB-DAC unit. All of this in a solid refined heavy aluminum enclosure matching the tradition of Italian quality in design and manufacturing, all of this is the RP3d-DAC. The light silver color chosen for the enclosure , the heavy chromed knob surrounded by the pilot illumination give a futher magic touch to this compact hiend amplifier.

The amp frequency response is virtually flat from 5Hz to 50Khz with a very low distortion mainly even harmonics, thats give to the sound the typical rich tube sound signature
The output swing voltage and the very high output current generate a very low damping factor ( Effect by impedance on output level ) making RP3-d capable to drive any headphone no matter of impedance and sensitivity.
Vacuum tubes ( 12AU7-ECC82) are selected for best pair matching, the estimated life due to the low operative voltage are very high and can exceed the 150.000 hrs.
Due to low operative voltage the external tube become never too hot so are not dangerous in any way and don't need any special protection grid.

External 6Amp.high current switching power supply give a pure and clean current completely insulated form noise coming from main power lines, an additional RLC filter mounted internally to the amplifier further increase the purity and purity of the power source. The Power supply unit can operate with  main supply from 100 to 240 V, so the amplifier is usable worldwide without any change.

The sound have the classic RudiStor signature, neutral with a slight warm taste, highly dynamics detailed and very transparent.
USB-dac unit based on the PCM2906b assure an high quality Sigma Delta data conversion, with very low noise.The use of a separate ground and supply voltage for the DAC avoid any possible digital spurious noise. The precision clock is a guarantee of low dithering, that mean a very clean and pure sound
