The RP-8 represent the highest level, the state of the art in our research in E-OTL headphone amplifiers. Despite of it's classic "RP" look it's part of a new generation of products. RP-8 it's a no-compromise device from any point of view. The sound joint the warm signature of tubes with the punch and dynamics given by solid state power output, based on bipolar transistors. The oversized and overfiltered double ( one for channel ) powers supplies deliver a clean and abundant current, in order to easily manage any power requirement even under the most stressing situations.
Frequency response if almost flat from near to 0 Hz up to 100Khz, and although RP-8 do not use any global negative feed-back in the circuitry, it have a totally black background with no humm or hiss at all . Thanks to the great damping factor and the high output current the RP-8 can handle any kind of headphone no matter of impedance or sensitivity As a standard feature, the RP-8 offer a "pre-out" set of RCA ( output contolled by volume knob ) making it an extraordinay preamplifier.

The box enclosure and mechanical parts are 90% made in aluminium, reducing as much as possible the use of magnetic metals.
The heating is managed in a way that amplifer reach the ideal operating temperature in a short time ( 1- 2 mins ), and the enclosre never become hot, so it's totally safe for kids and pets! CNC machined aluminuim faceplate and handcrafted chromed brass knob clearly show the superb handwork
