The basics 1 The use of two aerospace designed switching power supply ( followed by a redundancy of traditional capacitance) ensure high current, highest reliability, no EMI or any kind of emission and the cleanest output current, as requested by the very severe aerospace specifications, are ever more severe, so we select the best only before mounting on the RP200-V8 The panels on the front are too from aerospace industries and are not just panels but small touch screen computers, they perform an initial check of all the function of the amplifier, if test passed the amplifier is ignited, then every minute a check of the bias of each of the 8 tubes will be performed in background, the bias is auto adjusted constantly, so the tube always work at their best The right onboard computer have also the function to check the temperature of the most critical components, in order to properly adjust some values to match the environmental conditions. The left onboard computer after a start up procedure display the level of output signal,while in background are recorder the hrs of work of each session and the total hrs of usage ( * information available only connecting a PC to a USB port, need a service program )

The basics 2
Preamplifier by 8 Tubes ( 4 x ECC82 x Channel) selected and crio treated (
not replaceable to any other tube), 8 power transistor working in
trans-conductance mode, oversized current mirror in order to have the highest
current available..
The touch of warmth given by tubes followed by very high current of bipolar
power transistor, is our tradition for best VT sound . No Negative feedback is
another tip adding transparency and detail to the sound.

The start up checking: Voltages, tube and transistor bias are checked, right screen indicate the Amplifier serial number
When on normal operation the screen indicate the main voltage ( a complete check is performed every second in background) while the right screen indicate the sound pressure level for each channel

The Result
The sound is transparent clean very detailed and dynamics and there is no
way to describe it. It must be listened. The construction is Made in Italy totally in aluminum, with 10mm
thick faceplate and 4mm panels. All components come form the best available
production including aerospace and military high tech production and
selected to match our severe standards, RP2000 V8s is tough and reliable and
rock solid made. RP2000 as a pure high end amplifier work in balanced mode
only and must be connected to a balanced source: if an unbalanced source is
connected the output will be unbalanced ( trough 6.5mm jacks) The St-By switch work as " heater stand by " it disconnect
the main DC voltage to amplifier but keep the tube pre-heated ready to go
